Spiritual Love

Spiritual love is the love of others. It embodies the spirit of giving, the spirit of friendship, the spirit of lending a helping hand when one is needed. The spiritual lover puts others before themselves. Spiritual lovers can be those who help the dead, those who sacrifice of themselves to help a party prepare for battle, or simply those who gain joy from answering that cry for help from someone in need. Some of the people generally associated with Spiritual love could be druids, shaman, and wizards, but any can have spiritual love and this by no means limits any other guilds.

Physical Love

Physical love is the love of body. Aside from the obvious definition this also encompasses those with a love of fighting and a love of self. Any who strive to perfect their body and work to become a perfect fighting machine. Physical lovers enjoy combat for various reasons, be it the sheer thrill, the love of killing, or the feeling they get when they look at their ripped bodies in a mirror. Although this does include a love of killing, by no means should innocents be killed without good cause; the wholesale slaughter of innocents will not be tolerated. Those, such as assassins who receive contracts for specific kills, can kill innocents and are allowed to defend themselves from further attacks. Killing of innocents because of boredom will not be tolerated. All killing of innocents requires proper role-playing for their deaths.

Some general types that fit the physical love aspect might be monks, knights, rangers, fighters, and battle mages, but any can love to fight, so this by no means is a strict guideline.

Metaphysical Love

 

Metaphysical Love is the opposite of Physical Love. Where Physical Love is the love of the body, Metaphysical Love is the love of the mind. The metaphysical lover can be defined as one who is constantly striving for knowledge and the expansion of ones mind. A metaphysical lover might enjoy such things as puzzles, riddles, questing, meditating, exploring, and mapping. Metaphysical Love also encompasses expressions of Love through creative or artistic means such as painting, poetry, theater, or philosophy. While the metaphysical lover does help others in their search for knowledge, they tend to focus more on their own journey and achievements.

Material Love

 

Material Love is generally considered to be the love if items, but it encompasses much more. Wealth, items, luxury, status, all of the finer things of life fall under the category of Material. The Material lover enjoys not only having these things, but also pursuing them, obtaining them, caring for them, and perhaps even giving them away. They value their possessions highly and put much stock in their care and maintenance. While Material encourages obtaining items, it in no way condones stealing from other players. Items should be obtained in an honorable manner, and you are expected to respect the sole propriety of other guilds and temples where their items are concerned. Material lovers show their love in gaining the finer things of life for themselves and others. Some of the folks generally associated with Material include Thieves, Sorcerers, Fighters, and any others who prize their possessions highly.

Obscure Love

Answer: Tis nae the love of being misunderstood, but rather in loving what someone else can not understand. Say my love for death. Death isnt misunderstood by me, but my intentions and my love for it is misunderstood by many.

Answer: Nae, even ye can be confused by it, Normally it is something ye have knowledge of that others cant comprehend, but that is just normal. No master was born with complete knowledge of what he is a master of. So even ye can be misled or confused about what it is ye love. Ye may have a basic understanding, but seek to find the deeper essence of what ye love, it's a growing pattern. Just as the tree that grows straight and tall with few branches, soon it will topple over for it's roots are few. But the tree that ye prune and trim so more branches will grow.....Even though it grows taller faster, it grows stronger in it's roots and at it's base. This tree will survive the strongest winds. Consider the same for your beliefs. Even though ye only have a basic understanding, IF ye prune your beliefs and learn more they will grow greater.
